1. Scope of service
We provide visual drone roof inspection and aerial survey services using images and/or video captured from safely accessible positions.
Our service is intended to give customers a clearer visual understanding of external roof areas, high-level features, gutters, ridges, valleys, chimneys, flashings and similar visible elements.
Our inspection is not a structural survey, engineer's report, insurance assessment, building survey, roofing quote or guarantee of property condition. If specialist advice is needed, you should speak to a suitably qualified surveyor, structural engineer, roofer or insurer.
2. Pricing, bookings and payment
- Fixed residential prices shown on the website apply only where the property falls within the stated service area and meets the standard residential criteria described during booking.
- Flexi Day bookings allow the customer to choose the survey date while we choose the visit time during normal operating hours, based on route planning, weather and local bookings.
- Priority Time Slot bookings reserve a specific appointment window within our operating schedule.
- Commercial properties, larger properties, multiple buildings, unusual access requirements, additional work or repeat visits may require a separate fixed quotation.
- A booking is confirmed when the online booking process is completed or when we issue written booking confirmation.
- Payment is due as stated during the booking/payment process, on the booking confirmation, invoice or written quote.
3. Customer responsibilities
- You must provide accurate property information, contact details and any known access or safety issues.
- You must have permission to request inspection of the property and any areas you ask us to capture.
- You should tell us about hazards such as restricted access, animals, overhead cables, nearby airports, sensitive neighbours, security restrictions or unsafe ground conditions.
- Where access to private land is needed for take-off, landing or observation, you are responsible for arranging permission unless we agree otherwise in writing.
4. Weather, regulations and flight safety
All drone flights are subject to weather, site conditions, airspace restrictions, CAA rules and the pilot's professional judgement on the day.
We may postpone, rearrange, shorten or decline a flight if conditions are unsuitable or if the pilot believes the operation cannot be completed safely or lawfully. Where we rearrange for weather or safety reasons, we will offer a new appointment where reasonably possible.
5. Images, reports and turnaround
Deliverables may include photographs, video clips, a written summary and/or a PDF report, depending on the service agreed.
Turnaround times are estimates and may vary due to weather delays, technical issues, workload or the complexity of the inspection. We will make reasonable efforts to provide deliverables within the timescale stated on the website or agreed with you.
Images and reports are based only on visible conditions at the time of the inspection. Hidden defects, internal defects, defects obscured from view or issues developing after the inspection may not be identified.
6. Cancellations and rearrangements
- Please tell us as soon as possible if you need to rearrange or cancel a booking.
- We may charge reasonable costs where a customer cancels at short notice after travel, planning or preparation has already taken place.
- If we need to rearrange because of weather, safety or legal restrictions, this will not be treated as a customer cancellation.
- Nothing in these terms affects any cancellation rights you may have as a consumer under applicable law.
7. Limits of responsibility
We will carry out services with reasonable care and skill. However, our reports and imagery are visual aids only and should not be treated as a complete assessment of roof condition or a substitute for professional advice from a qualified specialist.
We are not responsible for losses caused by inaccurate information supplied by the customer, lack of permission, hidden defects, inaccessible areas, weather limitations, airspace restrictions or matters outside our reasonable control.
We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
8. Use of images and intellectual property
Once paid for, inspection images and reports may be used by the customer for personal property records, maintenance discussions, contractor conversations or related property purposes.
Unless agreed in writing, deliverables must not be resold, misleadingly edited, used for unlawful purposes or presented as a structural survey, insurance report or professional engineering assessment.
9. Privacy and customer information
We use customer information to respond to enquiries, arrange bookings, provide services, issue invoices and keep appropriate business records. We will only ask for information that is reasonably needed to deliver the service.
If images include neighbouring property or public areas, we will handle them responsibly and in line with our operational requirements and applicable data protection obligations.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales, unless consumer law gives you the right to use another court.
